>...any Vtes players there?
Assuming you mean Vienna, Austria and not Vienna, Illinois.....
Marcus Mock and Richard Utner are both listed as official volunteers
for Vienna.
http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/princelist.php
The current European champion hails from Vienna, as does Amenophobis!
There are 50+ players listed here:
http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/search.php
although a lot of them have no tournament games recorded.
Several.
The regular Playgroup meets once a week, Thursday evening 19pm to 24
pm.
More Information (in german) and a map can be found here:

I wish! Unfortunately it's 217 km away... that would be a bit much.
You can take the train. It doesn't cost much, if I recall correctly.
Budapest is worth the visit.
seriously?
i live in canberra, australia. which is about 300km from sydney.
i drive up to sydney for weekends all the time. sometimes i even just
drive up for the day.
i am sure with the fancy european train system (which, from my
experiences with the german ICE trains, totally kicks ass over
australian trains), it'd be no effort at all!
(having said that I was in leipzig for a week and didn't get around to
ducking over to prague...so...)

One of the things about living in Europe is that long distances can
involve changes, and potentially lots of them. I mean, there's
basically nothing between Sydney and Canberra, but across a similar
distance in Europe you can have hit 17 countries and 57 cities, with
many branches and twisty turny train tracks and things.
(The numbers may be _slightly_ off.)

If that's the problem I've got some ideas:
- We'll go there pick you up, and thats it.
- A train is an option too.
- We'll organzie a tournament on those weekends, you just talk to
Martin Weinmayer or Jacob Sievers and they take you to Budapest. :)
hey! there's a town called Goulburn and it has the Big Merino! It's a
gigantic statue...of a sheep!

...and then those trains stop working because it's cold?
Well I'm there from Jan 31st to feb 14th... meaning that I have to be
in Vienna on Sunday the 14th.
And I should go see sights (whatever they are)...
Sounds like I can meet with the local Vienna group twice (thursdays)
Maybe go to you guys on the first weekend? Interesting...
