I was wondering if someone could give a play example of
how this card works. We have been having trouble agreeing
on how it is played...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Gideon Fontaine (PRE) attempts a Social Charm. Don Cruez (lots) attempts
to block. Agrippina (OBF pot), who is untapped, plays Mo1000F at superior
(gaining +1 stealth). She taps, Gideon untaps, and now Agrippina is
attempting a Social Charm at + 1 stealth (even though she cannot play the
card.)

There is a restriction that a minion prohibited from taking an action will
fail if attempting it. This applies to things like Assamites
diablerizing.

Okay... Is Don Cruez still blocking? If he has a Sport Bike does he
continue to be able to block it? Or, has Aggripina given him the slip
and now he would have to Wake to block or someone else would have to
block? This is the point my group is disagreeing on. Some say that
the same person is still blocking and others say that since a different
vampire has taken over the action, someone else needs to block...

Thanks...

He's still trying. Actually he can't stop trying.

>If he has a Sport Bike does he continue to be able to block it?

Yes, unless Aggripina plays more stealth.

The ONLY way that Aggripina has given him the slip is that she has added
+1 stealth. If the Mask is played at normal it doesn't even give that.

Since Don hasn't successfully blocked, he wouldn't be tapped anyway. So
there's nothing getting in the way of blocking anybody. But, in any case,
there's nothing in the Mask that affect vampires attempting to block. I
believe you block actions rather than vampires anyway.

: Okay... Is Don Cruez still blocking?

Don Cruez is still _attempting_ to block. Since Aggripina got +1 stealth,
Don would have to come up with some intercept to be able to successfully
block.

: If he has a Sport Bike does he continue to be able to block it?

If he uses the bike for the +1 intercept, then he would counteract the +1
stealth from Aggie and he would be much closer to successfully blocking.

: Or, has Aggripina given him the slip and now he would have to Wake to block

Well, if he has no intercept, she has given him the slip. But he certainly
has the opportunity to play intercept as he is still attempting to block.
And he probably wouldn't have to Wake because you only tap once a block
is successful. If an untapped minion attempts to block and fails, he/she
remains untapped and you are given the opportunity to attempt to block with
someone else.

: or someone else would have to block?

Only if Don can't get any more intercept. And if the minion that used the
mask hadn't been able to get any stealth then Don would probably successfully
block.

: This is the point my group is disagreeing on. Some say that

The same person is still blocking. No doubt. and don't forget that if
someone else decides they'd like to block, the original blocker does not
tap due to blocking.

(There is a further restriction that a minion cannot take over any action
that he is explicitly restricted from attempting).

If Don Cruez has sufficient intercept, he is still the blocker (and cannot
choose to cease the block attempt until the acting minion's stealth
exceeds his intercept (or until the block otherwise fails - like with a
Day Operation, of if the new actor has an Incriminating Video of Cruez)).

If he (at any point) doesn't have sufficient intercept, then any
of your minions (including Cruez) may attempt to block (by matching
intercept to the acting minion's stealth), as per the usual procedure.
