Repulsion, Action Modifier, Obeah/Presence, no cost
[pre]: Only usable when the acting vampire's action is announced. If
this action is blocked, the acting vampire gets 1 optional maneuver,
only usble to maneuver to long range, during the resulting combat.
[obe]: +1 stealth. [OBE]: Put this card on this vampire. This vampire
gets +1 stealth. Burn this card if this vampire goes to torpor. This
vampire with Repulsion cannot have or play another Repulsion.

If you're trying to equip with a Repulsion in sup, and you get blocked, can
you use another repulsion in inf to get the necessary stealth ?

Repulsion is not equipment.
Repulsion is not an action and therefore cannot be blocked.

correct.

correct. ( typing this makes you feel great =D )

and remember, dear orpheus that you cannot make the same vampire play twice
the same action modifier during an action.

I don't understand. When do you put it ? When the minion does an action,
like Brother's Blood ? If that's the case, it's MONSTRUOUS !!

Is it ?

Yep, it is. That's an Obeah card for you.

But then again, it may become a bit hard to cycle after you play it. Since a
minion who has a Repulsion on him can't play another, you may end up wasting
your discards on them.

Obeah seems one of the better disciplines from bloodlines. The vampires are
very good too. In a sense it's a pity, but I can understand why they are
scarce !

The three best Obe cards in my opinion are :

- Spirit Marionette ('nuff said...)

- Anaesthetic Touch (the only CE to work under IG !!!)

- And Repulsion.

Now, some of the others are not that great, or have a weird outferior (Ani
?? Like Pre for the Samedi...), but on the whole it's a good discipline, to
say the least...

Yes, you may. But that's why you play Ian Forrestal... :-)

And then again, do you never play unique cards twice or more in a deck ?

I love that card !! ;-)

Also Neutral Guard. Combine with Signet of King Saul and do whatever you want,
without needing to bother with Repulsion.

Pre is the perfect outferior for Samedi. Perhaps you aren't playing them
right... ;) </troll>

And a discipline card on Matthias. But without the Signet (which I don't
have anyway), in the local metagame where there are some big vampires, I
have to discard it most of the time. And Repulsion is permanent.

I'm not playing them at all yet. :-)

Yours,

Orpheus, Prince of Marseille

news://news.zoo-logique.org/VTES-francophone
audio...@yahoogroups.comBut :

- none of the Samedi have Pre, so they won't use these outferiors

- I don't see what clans have at least 2 of the Samedi's disciplines + Pre.
What kind of combo would you imagine, with what vampires etc ?
