[reminder] SAC 2005, Sao Paulo, Brazil

Hi all,

Qualifier season is up in Brazil so I thought it would be good to
remind all that we're less than 40 days from the SAC.

South American Championship
June 4 (preliminary rounds), June 5 (final)
During EIRPG, or RPG International Meeting
Sao Paulo, SP, Brazil
10 a.m.
3R + F
Entry Fee fo EIRPG is R$ 6 (around US$ 2,33) per day.
Subscription to the championship is R$ 5 (around US$ 2,00) and
finalists usually get entry on EIRPG for free on the second day.

We'll also run another tournament parallel to the SAC for
non-qualified players.

There's a special place arranged for hosting travellers, but it has
only 80 beds available.

If anyone is interested in showing up, I've just recently discovered a
hostel (with Hostelling International affiliation as usual) few blocks
from home and from a metro station. I've checked it and it seems very
clean and comfortable - I've talked to a few foreigners (from
Switzerland, France, USA) sleeping there and received the most efusive
recommendations.

I guess one can find the hostel's site at
http://www.hostel.org.br (if I remember correctly)
but my browser refuses to function properly now. The name is Praca da
Arvore Hostel.
It costs R$ 20 (around US$ 7,85) per night to stay there for
Hostelling International users, and it takes around 30-40 minutes to
get to EIRPG's location by metro and bus.
