If a FOR OBT vampire with Fame plays Decent into Darkness and modifies
it with Daring the Dawn, what happens? DtD does agg damage to the
acting vamp "after the action is complete", at which point the vamp is
out of play. Does that mean:

a) Daring the Dawn's agg damage has no effect on the vamp, or
b) Daring the Dawn's agg damage takes effect when the DiD is burned
and the vampire returns to play.

Does the same logic apply to DiD and Day Operation, which sends the
vampire to torpor "when the action is resolved"?

When, if ever, would the Fame's 3-pool-loss effect kick in?

a)
Damage applied to an out-of-play vampire is lost.
The old example was self-Banishment.

Yes.

Not until the Famed vampire was back in play and then, by some new
effect, was sent to torpor.

Thanks. Didn't think to check under Banishment 'cause of the Final Nights wording.
