That's beautiful, but I don't think it works.

"Tobias can give any other non-titled Sabbat vampire _you control_
with a capacity above 5 the title of bishop as an action."

Actually, you could after you gave the Sabbat Count Germain a bishop

Or, perhaps I'll just have to thing of another idea after I roll off

No need to explain. We all understand your "special" nature.

I'll pass on one of your "explanations" as it will be as nonsensical
as the rest of what you wrote.

Ever wonder what life would've been like if you got enough oxygen at

Not only are you kicking off the insults, you're also too moronic to
understand my replies, and then insult me further by calling me
special/challenged, when you're the one that doesn't understand what's
going on.
Please, from now on just leave the intelligent conversations to those
able to follow said conversations. You keep on thinking-of-and-posting
retarded deck ideas. It's what you do best, apparently.

True that calling Norm a dumb fucking retard is neither nice nor
original, but he really should read what's written, and if he doesnt
understand it, then he shouldn't make insulting comments which show
that he doesn't understand it, but instead ask what was meant with the
passage he didn't grasp.
But noted, I shall henceforth try to refrain from using all too common
terms when referring to Norm. Thanks for your feedback!

Right now I'm wondering which one of your fathers was actually at your

Father's Day a confusing excercise?

I understand that you have problem typing, but then again, if you put

Shakespeare. Apparently, you're not that monkey.

Let me spell this out for you

R E A D - W H A T - Y O U - W R O T E.

Look at what I replied to with something you couldn't understand.
I'm sure all will be clarified when you call a friend with a brain to
explain "things" to you.

However, right now I'm doubting your basic ablilty to read in the
first place. Is this because you suffer from either congenital
deficits, educational difficulties, severe trauma, or a collection of
the abovementioned problems?

Secondary problem might be that you don't have friends with brains. I
wouldn't know how they could stand you, so I guess that's a realistic
problem.

This is hysterical coming from you, the person without a single
thought of his own. When was the last time you started a thread? When
was the last time you created an idea?

The answer is no time recently.

In fact, the only time you have to tried to initiate a conversation in
2007 was March 31st which was nothing more than a rules question.
Otherwise you are just a faceless name in the peanut gallery of "me
too!" quippers without a single thought of your own.

So why don't you crawl back under your bridge, so your undersized
brain doesn't have to do any heavy lifting.

Posted on the newsgroup, no.
Neither of these decks I built IRL. I doubt you build all the decks
you post IRL. However, I try my decks, and chuck them, unless I like
them a lot. If I want my decks commented on, I have a good set of
people to run them by on IRC for direct comments, like Matt Morgan,
Ben Peal, Gines Quiñonero, Anthony Coleman and various others. I use
that way to get feedback on my decks.

Perhaps, when I have ideas, I refine them myself, or have people I
know build good decks look at them. I don't think posting my decks on
the newsgroup has much added value for them or the newsgroup.

> So why don't you crawl back under your bridge, so your undersized
> brain doesn't have to do any heavy lifting.

Whatever. You also frequent the presence forums, I believe. If you'd
have payed attention you could've seen I have in fact posted some
decks there.

> Comments Welcome,
> Norman S. Brown, Jr
> XZealot
> Archon of the Swamp

Hope you like the decks. Keep in mind both versions are very rough,
since I havent gotten the opportunity to play much these last months.
For instance, I think the first deck might need to lose some cards
again back into freakdrives. Demonstration should probably be a Fee
stake.

Also, when you are incorrect, miunderstand basic things, or perhaps
feel like insulting someone out of the blue, next time realize that
there's smarter people than you out there. Your replies are both
insulting and avoiding any and all correct points made by me. This
generally leaves you with very little things to bitch about, as per
above. Who ever said anything about posting decks on the NG? Do you
feel posting decks on the NG is an expression of intelligence?
Seriously, if NG decks were a measure of intelligence, you're not
coming off well.

However, I'm feeling kind and will forgive you for your idiocy, so
therefore I wish you a good day.

Cheers,
Bram

This is the essence of the disagreement.

All positive posts affect the game and the newsgroup positively.

Deck lists are positive posts.

No. Right here the disagreement is more personal.

I think Deck lists of decks one didn't even bother to look at the
mechanics of, never tried to find or see the flaws of, and which
basically isn't a deck designed to strive to the actual goal of the
game, are not positive posts.
They are noise. Similar to this thread, and this post, true enough.
Noise is detrimental to the newsgroup.

Your archiving is laudable, and your presence is definately a positive
thing for the newsgroup. However I don't think there's much to be
gained by me posting my decks on here. Thanks for the invitation
nonetheless.

Here are a few things you like to know.
1.The last time I talked to Bram in person was two weaks ago.
2.There is no coörporation between us posting on Vtes.
3. I like Flamewars, so I provoke it.
4. I think that Xzealot posts decks to become the top ranked poster of
the month, not because he made extual good decks. So I dont comment on
his decks.
5. I expected Bram would just ignore Xzealot. I was wrong.
6. I thinks Xzealot is hard to ignore on this forum.
7. I really like eating popcorn.
8. If 2 Vampires play Drawing out the beast things get messy.
9. For the flaming I dont choose a side, I just like to watch it.

Well, I like reading and studying XZealot's decks. I simply treat them as
raw ideas or work in progress, not tried, tested and polished decks.

If you think they are noise, then killfile all his post with "DECK" in the
subject. But please don't confuse your personal preferences with universal
standards of behavior.

I like them as well. They are a constant stream of inspiration for me.
Of course they cant be copy&pasted for a tournament win but I consider
that quite a lame behaviour anyway.

If you don´t like them, I am sure you newsreader lets you ignore threads

I think Wookie's "you two" was referring to Norm and Bram, not Bram and
Oortje...

If you want a high post count, generating a VTES deck for each post is
hardly a good strategy.

Bubbles!!!!!!!!!!!!! and popcorn too. but its really the foamy bubbles
frothing at the lips that I enjoy.

BTW, Xzealot's decks are very usefull for using as a base idea for
building something innovative with. Bram is really good at finding
weakpoints. And they are both EXCELLENT at pissing each other off.

more bubbles please?

Well his deck idea's are ehm fun but if played in regular game whit
competative(sp ?) players i think you would be ousted soon enough.
So either he doesnt mind playing short games and waiting for the rest
to finish or his local play group is not playing to win as fast as
possible.
Personaly i will only play a deck if im convinced that i have a fair
chance of gaining a vp or 2 or even the Table win (ofcourse it depends
on seating order and what the rest is doing).
So in short, vampire is about ousting your prey. Not about having a
nice trick and then dieing quickly and basicly screwing the other
players by giving your predator a easy vp and your prey lots of time
to build.

Hmm. Can you manually edit your archive?
the Rabbat deck I posted misses
1x Anarch Secession
1x Fee Stake: Corte

Which fell off along with the crypt, by virtue of mispaste.
Cheers,

Me three (four?) :)

I also have a lot of fun reading these, and use them for inspiration
for weird deck ideas, since weird decks interest me, straightforward
and efficient decks generally don't. And yes, I also consider using
someone else's deck (as cut+paste) in tournaments to be lame. So keep
'em coming, I say, and ignore the rabble :D

Yeh. Or, they have multiple tiers of deck competitiveness, and all
deliberately experiment with weaker deck archetypes in search of combos
which might have a unexpected level of effectivness. Or, the deck ideas
are put to 'paper' in an attempt to potentially get some input from
others into their pitfalls (beyone the obvious you've stated above; "Tier
1 decks would crush this").

Bah. I think you obsess over short term gains too much. Keep playing in
that shallow end, if you'd like. We're talking about long-term research
here, which will obviously result in a large percentage of failures.
However, there's unbelievable depth to VTES. I enjoy and appreciate
Norm's effort at trying to squeeze a bit of performance out of the more
esoteric angles of the game.

Meh. Norm's a good enough player, he can make a reasonable threat from a
!Ven starter deck, if needed.

Yeh. Bah. Meh.

Not really.

Have to re-enter the deck entirely.

It has been accomplished.
