OK this is my first attempt at a silly combo deck, and my first
attempt at a trophy deck, and it is somehow both and therefore
probably much too much trouble than it will ever be worth, but I'm
kinda excited by the idea (and nobody seems to have cooked this one up
yet, yeah?).
Jessica adds someone to the red list of doom, puts them in the f**kin'
ground, and is rewarded for her efforts with a harem of cute little !
Toreador toy boys to play with at the Palle Grande.
Comments? Too crazy / fragile / weird to ever work? Norm? Anyone?

Deck Name : Jessica's Trophies
Author : Leon Tranter
Description : A rather crazy Jessica progeny / trophy combo deck.
Influence out Jessica (duh) while putting Tophy: Progenies into play.
Lots of them. Distraction will hopefully get you to your first
Parthenon, which should accelerate the process. Once you have a fair
few out and a Red List and a Shadow Play in hand, Jessica puts someone
on the list. Doesn't really matter who. Next turn put out a Palla
Grande and it begins. She stealth rushes and arms / entombs /
amaranths the target, triggering the trophies. She gets out of jail
free with a trophy: diablerie card (go search for it, unless you
already have it out, in which case just go get another progeny), and
then you can start ousting with a swarm of 2 cap full blood palla
grande trophy progeny bleeders.

Note that the red list target doesn't necessarily have to be your
prey's minions; if someone else has a "squishy" target like a weenie
or an ally (say, Mylan or Carlton), target them; or just go for the
player least likely / able to block the red list and rush actions (or
least likely to have a hand full of Majesties). The trophies will work
just as fine (though obliterating one of your prey's blockers before
you bleed them with 7 !Toreador that just popped out of the woodwork
for free is cool). The combat module beats lots of things, and gives
Jessica blood also, though she may be largely redundant by this point.
You may even want to get an extra progeny instead of a diablerie
trophy, if it will help you get that first vp; you can always use the
6 pool from an oust to influence out Jessica again if she is blood
hunted (and you feel like doing the whole silly combo again).

Nose of the Hound is in there so I can spare a master slot on the turn
I rush to put out a Palla Grande (or another Progeny if I put out a
Grande the turn before).

I should probably take this down to 60 cards by reducing some numbers
proportionally.

Maybe a little hard to get off, but probably safer than the Amaranth
angle... (sixth tradition, carlton etc), but you could go with
Ahriman's Demesne. I've built a CEL/OBT deck in the past to use it,
and the combat can be tricky but incredibly deadly. Permanents in the
way of Deer Rifles/.44 Magnums are good as well as the Cel.

Anyway, interesting concept - might be a bit hard to get working, but
could be fun to try,

Dude that's an awesome idea. Give Jessica Vast Wealth, then get her to
dig up Ruins of Villers Abbey out of your library. Rush, play Aura
Reading at basic, see how many manuevers you're going to need to catch
them. You get those manuevers for the whole combat too, not just the
first round. Keep playing Telepathic Tracking until you have them
pinned down and crying like a baby; Ahriman's, they burn, you get your
progenies. Muahaha.

OK that will be V2 of this deck. I want to give my V1 a go first
though. Might be time to start playing JOL, I don't have anywhere near
the cards to put that thing together.

I'm trying to piece together an Ahriman's Demesne deck using Servius,
Nehir and Anton de Concepcion. DOM, ANI, OBT. Combat cards will be
along the lines of Thoughts Betrayed, Terror Frenzy, Drawing out the
Beast, Aid from Bats and Ahriman's Demsene. With Black Metamorphosis
for additonal press and strike goodness. Ritual of the Bitter Rose to
fill up after the event.

Getting the card balance right is the tricky thing.

Isn't that always the trick?

Hm. What about a few copies of Sela? She's relatively small, titled,
and only one Trophy:Discipline card away from being able to blow up
sitting ducks. And of course she would give the option to use WMO...

I believe it was Ankur who told me about a Miller Delmardigan, Trophy:
Progeny, Palla Grande deck that he cooked up. I can't find it on the
newsgroup, so I guess he never posted it.

Jessica sounds like a reasonable !Toreador to base the deck around.

Cutting to 60 would probably help.

You could probably do 4 and 4 and then 4 weenie support vampires to
help you survive until the combo goes off. Alternatively, 5x Jessica,
1x Jessica Adv and a bunch of Epiphany (your support vamps can cycle
extra Epiphany as a +2 stealth and untap action).

Probably can drop all 3 if you can get it down to 60 cards.

You only need to Amaranth once and should have moved through a bunch a
cards by the time you are ready to do so. You can probably drop to 4
or 5.

Try to find room for 1 Rumors of Gehenna in case the table is crazy
enough to let it pass. Votes are cheap when you include them in the
extra master action selection.

If I had enough Trophy: Progeny, I'd probably try it.
