I'm posting this on behalf of Neville Wright, the tournament
organiser, who isn't on the newsgroup. Two of us travelled up from
Cape Town to attend the tournament at ICON. I had lots of fun playing
my Malkavian Celerity / Dementation combat deck and actually did quite
well -- the final came down to just Jan and me with both of us on 1VP.
Unfortunately for me I'd had to cycle a lot of cards to get that far
and after I ran out of deck Jan ousted me fairly easily for a well-
deserved victory. If I'd known how heavily he relied on those four
Protean masters before the final I'd have tried harder to target them
with Santaleous' special. :) My single VP in the final came by ousting
Victor -- winner of the South African nationals for the last two years
-- so I was quite chuffed about that. :)
Maybe this time the Google groups text box won't contrive to mangle
the deck formatting.
