Does Shade deal its damage only once per round or it applies for each
strike?

"When the minion with this retainer is in combat, the opposing minion
takes 1 damage during strike resolution {if the range is close}."

Carrion Crows works only once per round, but this is stated in the
card text.

Once per round. same for Murder of Crows, Zombie, Wolf Companion, etc.
and it happens during the 'regular' strike resolution phase,
regardless of when either combatants' strike will resolve. (eg: first
strike will not help the Shade, and strike: combat ends will end
combat before the Shade can do it's damage)
