[OT] New York airports

hi,
i am planning my trip to gencon and it seems i need to change airports
in NYC. i am arriving at JFK and my connecting flight leaves from
LaGuardia. How long does it take from jfk to laguarida? is there a
shuttle bus or do i have to take a cab/metro whatever? how much is the
cost for the ride from jfk to laguardia?

I made this sort of connection on my trip to the EC last year.

There are several options.

The NY/NJ Port Authority's web site: http://www.panynj.gov/airports/
(Select "Ground Transportation" and then "Connection Between Airports")
leads to:
http://www.panynj.gov/aviation/connfram.HTM

I found that the time estimates they give for the shuttle were high
in my one sample - perhaps I got lucky, though.
