Seems a bit egregious to offer to sell a booster box on ebay for 50%
above what the manufacturer currently retails it for (or for nearly
triple the price if you want to Buy It Now), especially since it's
in-print.. unless this guy is claiming that shipping one box of cards
from the US to the UK is worth 25 Pounds or more..

Depends. I don't have a problem with someone posting it in a 'look at
the nerve of this guy!' sense.. assuming the poster isn't the seller.

If the poster IS the seller, well, this'll be the second time I've
referred to Dumb People on this list in about 5 minutes.

From the context and the subject, I would assume he was either the
seller or posting as a favor to the sell, yes.

I don't see how such a post is 'dumb'. Using a newsgroup for free
publicity can't possibly hurt the seller. It's just annoying - because
someone's using a newsgroup for free illicit publicity.
