So would all. The sad part is that when people have complained, Jon has
complained right back. His attempts at defense usually revolve around the
busy nature of his schedule and the flippancy of the rules team, not to
mention his inability to make "Wilkie"-style rulings all by himself.
However - the fact that he entirely disappears for weeks at a time (esp.
after promising rules at a given time and then not delivering) is particularly
inexcusable. Looks like we got another Shawn.

Shawn didn't have time to perform his function and so sought a replacement
for himself.
'Course, in this case, the cure may be worse than the disease. At least
when Shawn was around, he had something to offer. The replacement chosen
from Customer Service was lacking just as much (if not more) in the
time-available department as Shawn was, and had markedly less experience
in playing the game (or, at least, in playing the game properly).
Hopefully, Wilkie is off looking for a replacement, and not just shirking
his duties here.
And (to stack my hopes in the face of tradition) here's hoping that the
replacement will be an improvement.
