Which card effect applies first, the Ankara Citadel or the Path
of Night?
If the Ankara Citadel halves the cost of any minion card and
the Path of Night reduces by one the cost of any card requiring
Obtenebration, would the cost of the Summon the Abyss be zero?
Greetings,
Damnans
The halving occurs first, then the reduction. Summon the Abyss
would cost her zero (3/2 = 1, 1-1 = 0)

Oh no! How broken. I think I'll skip the next tournament to allow the
metagame to adjust.
Anyway, so the general rule is multiplication before addition? I don't recall
offhand whether Ankara states how it works on the card, but is there a general
rule about rounding in the game?

No general rule, but the cars always state whether to round up or down. In
Ankara's case it's down.

What about Rex with Ankara Citadel? What does he play for a normal,
zero-cost combat card?
