>The unnamed + Dual Form = AWESOME Non-Infernal clone!
CEL, DAI, OBF, PRE, PRO and no special ability.
I don't know that I would call that awesome, but it certainly worth a
try.
I am thinking bleeds for 5 with 2 block fails gaining either 2 or 4
pool while canceling a AUS bounce
Legal Manipulation
Sense the Sin
Form of Mist
True Loves Face
I am Legion
Um yeah, but I would probably focus more on multi-act enkil cog
cheese. Bleed, Mylan, untap. Next player's turn I bleed, Homunculus,
or Helicopter, untap. etc. You should be able to get 3 or 4 bleeds
with him per table loop. If each of them is gaining you 2 or 3 pool,
that's rocking. You can DI people's flicks too. whee!!
Cog is only going to let you bleed one *extra* time per loop.
I really can't see why to bother. The unnamed + Social Charm + Form of
Mist. Rinse, Repeat Stupid, blunt, incredibly effective. Splash
generic Baali Master setup, and *maybe* at best Blind Spot. Fine,
there might be clever decks to make, but why bother when he's such a
powerhouse just blunt trauma'ing the place to death?
- Dave (Really not liking that whilst there's lots of tricks he can
pull, the unnamed's most effective role seems to be Kindred Spirits+)
Grammar fail is good. Dave grammar like.
3 blood, dont forget that.
It is still good.
I am happy that there is a good Baali-thing that doesnt rely on 2MPA to
make it good.
It is different. The big bleed is less possible (no inherent + bleed for
a start), but it is more stable because it has some poolgain. Also the
2R agg makes it resilient against rush combat.
Unfortunately, I am not that sure... but maybe you're right.
2R agg, and wolf claws / claws of the dead if it gets immgrapped.
doesn't save you from dodge, prevent which are part of most combat
decks
Oh sure. But the sheer possiblity of torporing any guy who doesnt have
dodge/prevent/whatever in hand is much better than standing around just
to be slaughtered. Also you can use Roetschreck.
I don't know, i kinda like standing around just to be slaughtered, and
then waving my fists in a manner that exclaims "you've won the battle,
but not the war!"
The Unnamed gives you pool per bleed.
Nergal can bounse and deal better VS rush with Immortal Grapple due to
FOR. Also, there are 2 Nergals that by themselves seem stronger then
the Unnamed. Merged it gets even better.
Nergal is better short term and long term minion. + 1 cost for
reactions against him AND -1 cost for a card is very good.
Perfect Clarity, Hide the Mind and the new card make it so that you
slam dunk your bleeds. No DOM nor AUS bounce.
Join in Enkil Cog and weenie AUS to check opponent's hand and you can
deliver big bleeds safelly.
Tiago
Yeah, and Arika votes better than Leatherface. You're comparing apples
and oranges.
What about Flesh of Marble? (and Ignore the Searing Flames if you
really fear agg).
He's a combat monster. Give him Shadow of the Beast and then start
using his CEL for combat pwnage. It's like he has a .44 that shoots
agg.
Brandon
Not really, Leatherface have unique ability (ok, no so unique) to move
vampires with votes to torpor - and is 7 cap (perfect cap for cardinal
benediction). So Arika in torpor - 0 votes. Leatherface with Cardinal
Benediction - 3 votes. Who is better vote ?
LoL!
Wait, where's your smiley?
best -
chris
Or alternately, use the outferior of Greater Curse instead of Legal
Manip (one less bleed, but at +1 stealth).
-John Flournoy
All I have to say is The unnamed is a beast!!!
It's 2 less bleed. I prefer Legal since it's more likely to be
playable by the other vampires of your crypt. And 3 bleed is better
than 1. Unless you don't play much stealth, but the ousting process
may be painfully slow.
In fact, I prefer to play it this way, with Monster to untap and bleed
(of course).
Let's not forget True Love's Face for 3 block fails, and another pool
burnt to continue blocking. I'm leaning towards the CEL hellfire
angle. Who run Bartertown???
