Thanks for the Donation question

If I have my Thanks for the Donation in play while contesting a card, and I
choose to continue contesting it, does my prey pay the contesting cost during
my untap phase, or during his? It's not clear from the card text or from the
rules section 4.1.

During yours. "*Your* cost to avoid yielding ... is now paid by your prey"
(emphasis added).

Your cost to avoid yielding is only paid during your untap phase.
