LSJ: "Take control" - Shepherd's Innocence and Chameleon

If I play inferior Shepherd's Innocence, can I "take control" of a card
I control? For example, to move it around from a vampire who got the
card early on to a vampire who can make use of it now.
Ditto, can I therefore use Chameleon as a way of making a titled vampire
an anarch - assuming, of course, I brought out in my last influence
phase (or during this minion phase with Undue Influence, I guess).
This also looks like it would be possible with New Management, to cycle
it perhaps.
Many other cards that say "take control" specify that the target is
controlled by someone else. The main card I can find that does allow
you to do this is using a Temptation on yourself - untap yourself and
take control when you have enough counters.

I'd say 'no' to the moving around/retargetting in general, based on
Disputed Territory.
Only equipment and retainers can be rearranged, and that's because of
explicit card text.

This sounds reasonable, however.

Sure, take control of it, but no retargetting. Again, Disputed Territory
as precedent.

Sure, take control of things you already control. But you won't get to
retarget unless specific card text allows it (or unless the control is
given to the *minion* taking the effect, rather than 'you').

Yes.

Equipment/retainer can be moved this way, yes. Tier of Souls, &c., no.
