Usually I call friends over Skype and MSN, but server also have a lot
of players in last months.

The best times to find players on server is morning (european players)
and night (brazillian players).
Morning and night using UTC-3:00 Brasilia standard time zone.

Um, what is that in GMT? (Greenwich Mean Time, the international basis
for time zones...)

UTC=GMT, for all practical purposes.

There's some scientific or bureucratic black magic at work, so those times
are strictly not equal, but they're not allowed to deviate from each other
for more than 0.9 seconds.
