Thanks Jason for pointing it out.
I know that we've all tried to turn our old characters into cards,
and now it seems like LSJ is soliciting these ideas.

==========
I'm the designer for the old World of Darkness card game Vampire: The
Eternal Struggle.
I use canon characters from the RPG whereever possible, but sometimes
the RPG source is rather thin. Ventrue are easy to come by, for example,
but Ventrue antitribu are much rarer, and Nagaraja and Osebo rarer still.
I've used some characters from TT groups before (player characters or
ST-made NPCs). And other times I just make up vampires from whole cloth,
of course. But adapting "real" characters, including non-canon PC ones,
seems more satisfying, both for me and for the game (I think).
So, if you have any characters that fit that description (i.e., that don't
fit the mold of a legion of other characters from the source material), and
you feel like taking the time to put together a source-material-like profile
of your character (age, brief background, image (description, not picture),
TT stats and attributes), I'd be happy to try to adapt some of them to the
card game. No promises that every vampire submitted will get printed, of
course.
Email submissions to me, not to this forum.

Thanks,
Scott

No copyright problems. See the original post.
If you have a reference for, for example, the stats of a canon Nagaraja or Osebo
that hasn't been printed, please let me know.
VERY interesting.
Submission incoming.
Would you still accept a written PC/NPC too? I could probably dredge
my brain for a few likely candidates (avoiding copyright, as noted
above) but it'd be great for some of the players who were also
involved in TT to toss in an idea or two. I'd genuinely never even
considered the idea before.
What amount of "background" do you need ? Is is just card ideas with a name
and a nifty special, or how deep do you want it to go ?
I guess from what you're saying that the focus should be on bloodlines,
including laibon ?
Makes me wonder about possible inclusions of a backstory in the future of
VTES, outside of storyline tournaments. Might develop in another post...

OK, I thought some kind of copyright problems was behind the no Karl
Schrekt, no Siegfried or Necross of Vancouver, no Critias of Chicago,
no Montano etc etc.
And as I wrote, "I understand that Nagaraja and Osebo are few".
As I wrote: "Sometimes the RPG source is rather thin. Ventrue are easy to come
by, for example, but Ventrue antitribu are much rarer, and Nagaraja and Osebo
rarer still."
Any Ventrue printed is some other Ventrue not printed. Likewise for Lasombra,
Trememe, and the other "popular" clans. These guys compete for slots. More
well-developed source NPCs than slots, that is. For clans like Nagaraja and
Osebo, the opposite tends to be the case.
No need to dream up other problems (like some sort of
self-copyright-infringement wackiness) when the explanation given is so
plausible and readily verifiable.

I am sorry. It´s just I have never seen you mention this, and didn´t
think you wanted to discuss it.
