First, does Drawing out the beast cause damage after opposing
minion does a strike combat ends. Seems to me that this is true
since the round ends prematurely due to the combat ends.
However, the argument exists because the rules state that it
prevents all damage dealt. This isn't damage dealt but one of
the guys wants some official ruling.
Second, if Dawn operation is in effect is the 1 point of damage
after the round aggravated when DoB is played. This is also
assuming a strike: combat ends card is played.
Thanks,
Bruce
The rules outline is probably the best way to see how combat works. It
is at: http://deckserver.net/cgi-deckserver/rulemonger.cgi/rulesoutline
After a Strike:Combat Ends, you would go to the END OF ROUND step, at
which time DotB would deal its damage.

Since the END OF ROUND effects are occurring while you're still in
combat they would be aggravated.

Correct. [RTR 01-NOV-94]
One note: the bit about: "the rules state that it prevents all damage
dealt" is not strictly true. Both printed rulebooks (Jyhad and VTES) say
that "it ends combat ... before any damage is dealt". (The distinction
isn't importantant here, but noted for completeness.) The revised
rulebook is no clearer on this point, either. But all of these are
refering to the damage that would have otherwise been done in the strike
resolution phase in question. Damage done before that time (by Weather
Control, for example) is still done, clearly. And, less clearly, damage
set to occur at the end of the round will still occur when the round
ends, even if the round is ended prematurely by S:CE.

Correct. DotB's damage is done at the end of the round, not "after"
(errata/correction to printed card text). [RTR 09-NOV-94]
