Last night, the question occurred to us whether a vampire (opposing Basilia
in this case) that has just played a Skin of Night is still a target for
Rötschreck... although we quickly ruled "yes" to keep up the game speed, we
were not so sure about that one.

Any comments please?

Correct. Rötschreck keys off of the attempt to use aggravated
damage against the opposing vampire; it doesn't care if the
damage will ultimately be prevented, transmuted, ignored, etc.

What if acting minion plays superior "song of serenity" before range is
chosen in combat ? if the opposing minion has 0 strength, i guess he can't
aggravate then play rotschreck ?

Ah! So are those the official terms? Prevented, transmuted, and ignored? We had
a recent thread discussing the various things that happen to damage but I
wasn't sure if there were any official terms for things such as Skin of Night
and Ambrosius' ability.

Correct. The minion must attempt to use aggravated damage, and
0 agg doesn't qualify.
