Report - The Gilbert / Murdock series, part I

Big vtes weekend with qualifiers all over europe which I did not have
the time or money for. But we played a standard constructed tourney
which was the first part of our little league where you can win a Dan
and a Marianna.
11 players attended the tourney. Lots of voters and bleeders. Few
combat decks. Most successful deck in burning vampires was my weenie
malk vote with a total of 0 combat cards that burnt alexandra, villon
(with a heart of the city) and sir marrot (with a heart of the city)
with two different justicar retributions.
After the three qualifying rounds the following players got into the
finals:
1. Christoffer Arvidsson, Setite snb
2. Alex Ek, Weenie g1-2 malk voter
3. Martin Petersson, Zayat, !Ventrue, Salubri bloatmachine
4. Magnus Hultin, !tremere bleeder with obt
5. Archibald Zimonyi, Malk/!malk voter (got into the finals after three
players had dropped before the finals).
Finals was a pretty simple game. Christoffer hunted Hultin who hunted
Archie who hunted me who hunted Martin. My two votes where votelocked
by 11 other votes on the table and I didn't see a malk justicar in the
whol round (might be intresting to add that archie had maris brought
into play). Archie managed to get a protected resources into play that
helped him alot against Hultin so Christoffer could take his time and
oust Hultin.
When Archie was almost dead and I finally saw the opportunity to get
some voting done and actually win the finals Archie tried to offer
Christoffer a deal wich included him ousting me and Martin and then
self-oust. Faced with imminent death I was forced to offer a counter
deal to Christoffer that gave him one more vp than Archies deal. He
ousted Archie and I ousted Martin within seconds. Then I conceded and
the finals was over with Christoffer getting 4 vps and me getting one.
