Normally, I'd hook you up with other locals by showing you a forum
custom made for you. Unfortunately, neither the Australians that set
it up nor their neighbors pay much attention to it.

My NZ geography is poor, so I don't know how helpful Auckland,
Dunedin, Napier, or Wellington would be for you, though I would
definitely recommend contacting those players.

now we have 8 regular and 12 tournament actives after about 6 months.
