Sudario Refraction and empty hand

Sorry if this has been asked before, i can't find anything about it in
this newsgroup:

Sudario Refraction, Action, Giovanni
+1 stealth action. Choose three cards in you ash heap and move them to
the top of your library. Then discard three cards at random from your
hand (and draw up to your hand size afterward).

I have no cards in my hand except 1 Sudario Refraction. I play this
card, what happens?

1. Sudario puts 3 cards in my library, i draw them immediatly, because
i am below
my hand size, then discard 3 cards due to Sudario, then I draw up to
my hand size due to
the "draw up to your hand size afterward" part of SR from my now empty
library.
=> No Cards in hand after the action

2. Sudario puts 3 cards in my library, I then discard 3 cards from my
empty hand, then I draw back to my hand size due to the "draw up to
your hand size afterward" part of SR, leaving me with
3 cards in my hand.
=> 3 Cards in hand after the action

Meaning, if i depleted my deck and my hand, can i recycle cards from
my ash heap back to my hand thus giving my a net gain of 2 cards.

You end up with an empty hand.
Your hand is constantly and immediately replenished as soon as you
have cards in your library.
