Apparently at the EC, Oscar said the next set after HttB is "in the
pipeline" to paraphrase.

What do folks think we should expect? Probably a new base set, but
around what? Sabbat? Or maybe Kindred of the East? Dark Ages?

Speculate away, it's silly and fun!

Scott will be one.

Old Clan Tzimisce, Mage allies, and obscure bloodlines. Underwater.

For you information sir, the Ventrue do make the best Admirals.
It was a pity you didn't come to Palma and see that first hand.
And Scott was not a Cylon. Although I obviously treated him as such.

I really do hope it will be a kindred most wanted 2,
with a serious improvement of the trophies-alastor-templars-red
list stuff.

If the previous alternating scheme holds, we'd be due not for a base
set, but a 60-card small set. A new Base set would be the following
one.

The 60-card'er could be nearly anything; I can't think of what would
be done with 60 to expand on bloodlines, so maybe a KMW-like expansion
of those mechanics makes sense. Maybe Imbued 2: Electric Boogaloo.
Maybe something radically odd.

Base set, I'd expect, would be Sabbat. Something completely different
would probably show up in an alternate-year set.

We're probably due for another Indie core set or a Sabbat Core Set.

Honestly I'd like to see more of the kind of "threatening violence" in
Sabbat Politics. The Camarilla can stick with the "Power of
Persuasion" and "Elitist Old School Networks" style of voting... but
really Sabbat Politics should feel like you're dealing with Russia in
the 70s, North Korea or maybe Iran. "What you gonna do huh? *Pats
large explosive strapped to 1-cap goon* I think I have all the voting
power I need right here..."

For and Indie Core Set there should be some Nec stuff, Nec allies
instead of Gio Allies? If you're not a Gio and using Necromancy you
seem to basically get SQUAT as far as zombies/wraiths/ghouls/things
that go "nom nom nom" in the night.

Probably a Sabbat edition with Montano as Camarilla Lasombra Inner
Circle. I sure lobbyed for the guy.
That would due my first Lasombra deck ever. The really smart Lasombra
for a change.

So Ventrue are adept at repeatedly making a bad decision while in
charge, requiring someone who has no knowledge to the topic to show
them the right way.

I expect them to do the VTES toiletpaper in the Launch Kit.
Could be the rulebook.
Could be Inbued rules ("Wipe you ass with the Imbued!").

Both Oscar and Scott really got into the idea while we were having
breakfast and this idea was brought up. Production costs or someone
higher up in the company (most likely with little or no sense humour)
might axe it though...

Cheers,
Janne / Lönkka

PS I kinda also really like the idea of doing plenty more advanced
versions for, for example, Group 1 vamps.

Yeah, having also been at that breakfast.... awesome idea. Wipe you
ass with style and Conviction!

Oh yes. Seconding (thirding?) this. It would be awesome to get some
new toys for group 1. Advanced Wynn? Basilia? Ebanezer Roush?
Rebekka?

Besides that... well, the whole Trophy / Red List thing could maybe
use some love, as could Sabbat politics. We don't need anything as
strong as Parity Shift for the Sabbat, but it would be nice to have a
genuinely powerful Sabbat-only vote card or two.

For little newsgroup chickens to keep claiming the sky is falling?

Yes. yes yes yes. Maybe a way for Seraphs to create red lists? Or a
trophy that you can burn to create red lists?

The HttB probably has around 74 new vampires in it. With many of those
in bloodlines and some odd along the Cam/Sab axis I'd say the next
(mini) expansion would concentrate on the Sabbat. Many of the Sabbat
clans are still half a dozen vampires short from a full group 5. The
same goes also for the Camarilla, but Cams have had 2 expansions since
the lates Sabbat expansion, and the latest Sabbat themed expansion is
going to be more than 3 years old when the set after HttB comes out.
Probably not Indies either, as their group 5 is also full or almost
full.

I second the thought, that it will be something like KMW2.
Reasons behind it - recent storyline event, where the Imperator was
chosen to start a new war with the infidels.
There's still no sign of an Adv. Karsh :)

Crepusculo: Vampiros con Brille

honestly though, i wish Laibon was treated like a full base set sect,
like Sabbat or Camarilla. that way you can incorporated Assamite,
Followers of Set, Lasombra, Ravnos, and Tzimisce as a set. then they
could have as large crypt choices like the current big 7 enjoy with
their antitribu counterparts. it'd also provide reason to flesh out
the Akunanse, Guruhi, Ishtarri, and Osebo more. less bothering with
Mozambique allure, more minions starting as Laibon.

i also agree with the ADV 1 Set idea.
