Angelica's Special Ability

The ability is: Once each time Angelica attempts to block, you may burn
X master cards from your hand to give her +X intercept.
We want to know if this implemented by burning off as many master cards
as you want at once, to gain say +3 intercept for 3 master cards, or
if she were allowed to burn cards progressively as the acting minion
added stealth. The once each time she attempts to block would then refer
to something like Form of the Mist where you could try to block one
action twice.
Also, in the first instance does the controller replace the burnt master
card at once or only after the intercept has been determined. (i.e. Can
you go fishing in your deck for another master card after you play the
first)

Right. You decide to use her ability; you choose X; you burn X master
cards; she gets +X intercept. (all of this happens as a unit).
Then you draw X cards, since you have just played (burned) X cards.

Only after. (i.e., you do not go fishing for more Master cards to burn).
