This deck revolves around both Cailean and Beast, who tend to shred
face on a regular basis. It kills vamps and bleeds for 2. There isn't
really anything subtle about it.
The final table played out pretty weird. I intentionally seated myself
behind Bake because I knew that he was likely playing something that
included big bleeds and increasing the difficulty of blocking them,
with minimal combat defense. I figured he would be an easier VP for my
deck.
He was also preying on Randy, who had a very similar deck. His deck
had little defense against Bake, and my prey and grand prey started
racing each other for VPs. This allowed me to go in for the kill on
Bake once Randy was low enough, allowing 2 quick VPs.
Mark had best take a long shower after playing that deck. He
constantly stole both Randy and Pennington's minions. They ganged up
on Mark, keeping me from having a legitimate predator, and Mark was
unable to get too out of control. He did, however, manage to oust
Pennington.
It came down to a 1-on-1 with me against Mark. Mark had 5 pool, a
crippled vampire, and a 1 cap. I had a ridiculous amount of pool,
Beast, Nigel, and a 2 bleeding Tommy. Mark simply did not have the
resources/cards left in his deck to recover. He did, however, put up a
valiant effort to not explode into a fine red mist.
