Hey,
I just downloaded a copy of Rogue for DOS. It gives the command "S" to
save your game to the file rogue.sav but I have no idea how to load a
game once it has been saved. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You can reload games by typing, IIRC, "rogue -r <name>" (although it
could be -u, I forget) where <name> is the name of the saved game. You
can leave out the <name> if you saved the game as rogue.sav.

Form the dos prompt, write C:>rogue <filename> and press Enter, i.e.:

C:>rogue game1.svg

BTW: If you reload a game and die, the saved game will be erased. You can
avoid this by copying the saved gamed under a different name - and then
renaming back to the original name if you die.

That is considered "cheating" by ROGUE purists, however.
