I noticed the Epyx Rogue has a dividing "S" instead of a snake. Are
there any other differences between Epyx and the original? Is one easier
than the other?

I always found Amiga Epyx Rogue to be much more playable, and consequently
easier, than the "standard" Rogues.

I am always perplexed when I see the "S" for Snake. It was always a "Slime" and the message was "The Slime divides. Ick!"
