What does this mean? I get it when I attempt to patch with the colorised
wallsand floors tile. Mind you the patch succeeds with fuzz and
successfully compiles.
I get the same message when I attempt to patch the new castle levels but it
doesn't like compiling if I am using other level patches like Medusa.
Compiling under Win2k using MinGW, I've made sure that the line breaks are
the correct line breaks too.

PS: Like most people, I feel it's bad form to put essential information
in the subject line and not repeat it in the body.

The answer is contained here, at least as applied
to diff:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diff#Unified_format

Presumably patch also complains if the last line
doesn't end in a newline.

FYI
