Luckily(?) this left a bones file.
A bones file with 10 (almost full grown) baby silver dragons.
Great.
several characters later...
A new rogue armed with some 40 daggers and expert with them arrived
and carefully dispatched the dragon horde with liberal usage of the E
word and dagger chucking.
The loot was mine. ("take that, RNG!", cries the Rogue, triumphantly).
Then while playing with my 2 BoHs (you can see this one coming a mile
away... The revenge of the RNG) amidst the flurry of keys and skipped
messages I saw ' you are engulfed in a magical explosion'!
AAAAHHHH!
I will never learn!
Never ever ever ever put a BoH into another BoH!
Oh well, at leat got the +2 boots of speed and +2 SDSM, even if I did
blow up all of my scrolls, 20 potions of holy water, 2 magic markers,
about 30 rings!
And I still have another BoH (even if it is cursed and all of my
potions are gone)...
A mixed success indeed.

Owie. Sorry to hear about your pain.
<spoily observation follows>
Wait.... 30 rings? 20 potions of holy water? 2 Magic markers?
Dude, if you have that and a means of polymorph, you've got a
good chance of getting infinite wishes!

Is there some bug/exploit I don't know about? (says me, who wrote a
spoiler on pudding farming once upon a time)
What??? what's this?
What do you mean by "... a means of polymorph, you've got a
The only method for infinite wishes that I know of is Slashem's Gypsies.
Build up a huge debt with them by 'gambling', and then get your cards
read.Every time you go throught the entire pack of cards, one of the
cards (can't remember which one at the moment) grants a wish!
Of course there are other less pleasant effects like losing wisdom,
getting touch of death'ed, getting punished etc, but all of these can be
dealt with.
I remember abusing this for many useless trinkets once.I recall that the
worst effect was the 'getting punished' one, which could be dealt with
in many ways.
I locked a nymph in a room on a no-teleport level for repeated
ball-and-chain removal, ISTR...
Quite an overpowered abuse, but usually by the time you find a gypsy you
dont need the wishes (they started appearing for me at about level 50 or so)
No son, this isn't ADoM, it's Nethack.
I know how you could get infinite wishes like that in ADOM, and I'm
assuming that's what you're thinking of.
Apologies to the owner of that sig concept, but it was too good an
opporunity to pass up.
Gypsies can be reverse-genocided. If you start a wizard with a magic
marker,
make your way to Minetown, get a few thousand zorkmids and Magicbane,
then max out your luck, it should be perfectly safe to summon a roomful of
gypsies and start wishing for everything you can think of.
Also, I'm not sure if Slashem has fixed the lodestone item duplication bug
yet,
which also can provide infinite wishes, in addition to duplicated artifacts.
Happy Hacking
Sorry people, but in the latest release of SLASH'EM you can only get
one wish per gypsy. The second time they draw infinity they wish they
weren't there and disapear.
It's always sad to see the end of a well-loved abuse...

Right. Moment of confusion, sorry. I got my spoilers mixed up.
