Deutsche Nethackseite

Ich arbeite gerade an einer deutschen Nethackseite und suche noch ein
paar schöne Geschichten aus dem Kellergeschoß oder auch Bilder.
Ein paar Fehler sind noch drin aber das Grundgerüst steht - die Links
sind mit Mozilla schlecht zu erkennen (erkennt seine eigene
Editoreinstellung nicht..) und der Internet Explorer schmeißt alles
durcheinander, aber welcher Nethacker benutzt den schon ;)
Es wäre schön, wenn es hier ein paar deutschsprachige Nethacker gibt,
die etwas beisteuern können - auch Tipps sind willkommen!

hi,
als erstes würde ich nicht bei jedem der links ein neues fenster öffnen,
das neeeervt :-)

NG, so here's the english version:
Working on a german Nethack page, I thought in this group there might be
some german speaking people who want to share screenshots, stories and
other nethack stuff for the page.
there are some things that will be changed - like opening always new
windows and the link color.
with the Internet Explorer it looks chaotic by now - that will be
changed too.
that was all ;)

My qustion is: Why do you want to create a german nethack
page? Unless nethack itself is localized to german language,
I assume most players of nethack will know english ;-).

Sometimes it would be easier if the hints and well known problems would
be in german - and maybe there are some younger players which don't know
much english.
We are searching almost everytime we're playing some english words - you
get closer to the game if it's your own language.
And of course it's fun building a nethack page - all the other pages of
my homepage are german, so it wouldn't fit being in english.

Hence you first need spoilers, FAQs and hints in german.
If you have them, you can put them on a web page. An
empty or almost empty webpage does not seem a reasonable
contribution to the net, in my opinion. Be that as it may,
personally I would think that the translation hazzles
(I vaguely remember that I had much troble with german/english
versions of The Game Nethack Is Not, to re-translate some
weapon/armor vocabulary) would need a similar amount of
time. The game still speaks english to you, after all.

That's why I posted here - and I got some helpful Emails yet.
I guess there wouldn't have been any if there hasn't been a "skeletal
structure" of the page.

But on the other hand it's unlikely that someone localizes nethack
without somone doing some translation work first...

This is what I saw when translating NH to Portuguese
(project stopped for now. Lack of time to work on it). I would need to translate
guidebook (big fat boring thing to do).
