Well, both in the Makefile and the config.h I used termcap. Now I changed it
both to termlib and it seems to work. But I'm not too certain about it since
I have another problem. After a certain number of moves (usually about 1000
+/- 200) the game fills the entire level with one kind of monster (rothes,
grid bugs, etc.). At this point I can't even continue to play. First nothing
can be seen, the game seems to take no commands anymore. After one 'CTRL-C
Quit Games? No' everywhere where the character can see the monster appear. I
checked with yamm, the CPU time used rockets to ca. 95 %. One time I managed
to recover such a game in Debug mode, so I know the entire level is filled
(at this point I could continue) since I wished for a potion of monster
detection (and I thought those were useless :-). Can somebody please help me
with this problem? Anybody else got the same problem?

Alex

Ack!! Same problem yes, solution, no. Help!!

I'm trying fiddling with options in config.h and the Makefiles, but so
far, no success. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I'm
building it for HP-UX 9.

Oh, and btw, for anyone who read my last message, I finally fixed that
problem, so I can compile now. Amazing what a newer version of gcc
will do. ;)

Cheers

Well, that's exactly the system on which I compile it. Well, today I'll also
try to compile it on our Linux maschine.
