Yes, the Hidden Dragon Klan is of recent creation and so far with only one member:

https://tnnt.org/clan/Hidden%20Dragon

Therefore, Sir, You must be Mister Julian Corbin. Three games finished in The November Nethack Tournament of 2023, unfortunately without ascending the hero. What kind of players do You prefer in Your klan, Mister Corbin ? Experienced, beginners, any particular profile ? Please write COMPLETE information and answer probable questions.

Five days without reply. Claiming that any Nethack player 'should' join a klan, but not providing further information, is VERY poor promotion of the said klan. If You were serious You would have replied already. You better continue alone.

Maybe he is so busy playing that he found no time to read this
NG? ;-)

I'd read the OP's post that he wasn't looking for any specific
profile, rather just inviting interested folks for company.

BTW, re: TNNT; is that tournament to play only with that TNNT
variant? - I saw this variant had been played also before the
tournament started (if I observed correctly). - I recall that
other tournaments allowed to choose the preferred variant?

The Junethack (however that's spelled) tournament in June offers
a bunch of variants.

TNNT, The November NetHack Tournament, has essentially replaced
the old /dev/null tournament which ran in November for many years.
It only offers the most recently released version (so nethack 3.6.7
this time) with some tournament-specific modifications. I think it
was playable during October for beta testing purposes.

Disclaimer: I'm not involved in any of the tournaments.

Yes, it's basically a spiritual successor to /dev/null/nethack, and like
devnull, it focuses on the current vanilla NetHack release (with some
tournament-specific challenges and special content). The other major
tournament that's still around, Junethack, is sort of a celebration of
variants so allows play across whatever popular (i.e. hosted on
supported public servers) variants you like.
