I am sure most of you do not but IGN (at www.ign.com) has an excellent
gaming msg. board system I have been with for years. Anyhow I am attempting
to get them (One of the net's largest and most respected gaming sites...) to
acknowledge NetHack and give it a board!

Problem is I need 150 signatures from 'IGN Insiders' (subscribers who pay
about $20 per year to post with extra privileges and some private boards...)
to sign for it. As I said I doubt many of you fall into the category but if
you do the link to *sign* for the board is here:

http://boards.ign.com/Board_Requests/b5295/38443354/?47

NetHack is known by all self-respected gaming media sites but yet does not
get its own place for people to post in a moderated and public-access forum.
This newsgroup is excellent but does not push the word of NetHack out for
those who do not come here. (I work for a major ISP's help desk and trust
me...out of 1 million customers less then 10k even know what a newsgroup
is...)

So even if you do not subscribe to IGN, well you can create a username and
password for free to check out what is (In my opinion) one of the best
free/pay game, movie, art, hell any thing you want organized msg. board
system on the net. So check it out!

And if you know someone who does have an IGN Insider account, please have em
sign the petition. I am doing this to not only get myself and my IGN
NetHackers a place to post, but to help spread the good-word that
is...NetHack. ;)

Thanks.
