DCSS YASD: Summoning, teleporting and the hive.

My first reasonably successful caster. Locked out of the Lair by 3
Oklobs surrounding the 3 stairs up in L2 I was clearing out the Hive
without any trouble. I was getting bored of Mephitic cloud, shock,
repeat and had just got a book of calling and trained up summoning to
level 2. I summoned a few air elementals, 1 hostile, 2 friendly, and
figured my Air Magic was high enough that I wouldn't be getting too
many hostile air elementals.

The hive was all but clear, but I summoned an elemental anyway, far
from the stairs, it was hostile. I read a teleport scroll, swifted
myself and got hammered by it until I teleported - into the one place
on the level that hadn't been cleared:

What are the chances? I tried to keep them off me with mephitic cloud
until another teleport kicked in, but no luck.

Lessons for the day: Never summon elementals without an escape route.
Always assume teleport will land you in the worst possible place.
