Hi! fellow players..

I know that years ago a number of Angban Clones exsited which played in a Sci-Fi sort of environment?

Does anybody have a clue if there is anything of these left? Or did we run them over with Angban and it's clones?

cheers

You might have better luck looking for Angband variants. :)
The only current variant I know of with anything sci-fi-ish is Psiband
-- if you consider psionics science fictional. You can look at
features of the various variants here:
http://thangorodrim.angband.org/
or here, but I can't access the page just now:
http://www.angband.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/

Under development, early version can be found at

No longer developed, but can be found at

BOSS:
A Moira variant for the Mac, I'm not sure where to find it.

There are a couple of others listed on the Roguelike News links page,
Post Nuclear Adventure and CyberPunk Roguelike, that are supposedly
under development but don't seem to have reached playable status yet.
The Roguelike News page is generally a good place to start when you're
looking for roguelike information.

Actually
I am playing a game Called Doomsday 2000. It was originally written for the
DEC VAX, and ported to the PC. I absolutely LOVE this game. The author can be
reached at mega...@aol.com
I have been playing this game for years and have yet to beat it.
I think he charges like $20 or so for it.
I really recommend the game to challenging game lovers.
