In DCSS, does wearing amulets, rings etc. increase hunger?

Only certain rings increase hunger. Other jewelry does not
have this effect unlike Rogue. Watch out for randars though.

Oh - do randarts increase hunger? Is my glowing +2 armour of poison
resistance actually starving me?

Not all of them. The ones that do will say so when you examine them.
If you use autoinscribe they'll show up as *HUNGER or some such.

No, but some randarts might have a "makes you hungry" property. If they
are identified you'll see this by viewing the item.

Your glowing +2 armour of poison resistance isn't a randart, btw.
Randarts have names.

The aptly named Ring of Hunger does.

The Amulet of the Gourmand o.t.o.h. does *not* cause hunger -- that name
confused me until I had it explained to me.

A pro pos hunger: do vampiric weapons cause hunger? I used a vampiric
dagger or shortsword on a toon for a while and I got a very strong
impression that they got hungry a lot faster until I stashed the thing
when the rapacity returned to normal ... not entirely sure though, hence
I am wondering out loud here.

Yep! From http://www.chaosforge.org/crawl/index.php?title=Tips_and_tricks

"Avoid having ring of regeneration or vampiric weapon equipped when
at
full health, such items increase your food consumption."
