I was just wondering what mutations you start-scummed for, how far you usually
get, and what technique you usually use to kill stuff/gain levels/find
Monoliths.
Thanks.

Well, I don`t scum for mutations, though spines and military genius are
*nice*. To kill stuff I usually just charge it straight off, unless I
have a gun of some sort, and they are sufficiently nasty - in which case
I try to get them to line up so I can hit them all in one shot :)

I start-scum in the name of Jeffrey Olson to get scientific genius. I
don't care
about the physical mutation, sci. genius is the best.
I usually fast-fight all monsters, expect those with special attacks
like rosebushes
and goats... I use a long-range weapon on them. All non-purple/blue
berries are thrown
on monsters. When walking to and from castles I try to pass as many
screens as possible
so I find more berries/techies/monoliths (without wasting time)
