This game is great! Once you know what you're doing, you can do a pure fighter run in less than 2 hrs. Spell casters much harder, I'll have to try that next. Also, stay away from water elementals.

Congratulations!

POWDER takes more effort than coffebreak roguelike game to master
but not overly so. At the same time it features fully developed
world with lots of things do to and wonders to explore. To me it
is NetHack lite. What is not to like?

Yes, water elementals are dreadful. If I was to imagine a walking
amulet of strangulation it would surely look like a water elemental.
