I don't know, but following the path of tile based
Ultimas and Nahlakh, then adding random world of
a roguelike could be cool. I always liked the simple
tactical party-based combat of Ultima 3-5. Nahlakh
was probably taken too far in that, because the battles
were ridiculously long and hard.
Anyway, I think an idea of mixing these two game types
could generate a great game.
Yep. This is exactly what I had in mind. The Gold Box games (Savage
Frontier, Countdown to Doomsday, etc.) are some more good examples. I
like the type of combat found in these games (very wargame-esque!!),
coupled with the random generation.

mostly for gp2x + psp but there will be a pc version.

its still in development but its looking good.
combat engine is coming along nicely. most everything
else works.
