Trouble is, I can't pick it up. I haven't got the slots!
I don't think I can drop anything I'm carrying, but can anyone help me
to part with my survival kit and tell me what the least valuable part of
it is?

That's not even a proper name. She's probably using an alias. Ditch this one.

It's certainly a joke. Some of the (older?) borgs inscribed their food
with various names, but didn't have things set correctly to merge items
with multiple inscriptions, so ended up with a bunch of slime molds
occupying their house or inventory. Perhaps this dates back to an
earlier joke, but this is where I first encountered it.
