Crystals Of Knowledge

I have found crystals of knowledge to be a pretty common item if dug
up by a dwarven priest... Blessing them is also no problem, as they
weigh only 1s. Is this common, or did the RNG just fool me into
thinking that Grievas the Dwarven Priest will be successful in
becoming an avatar of Order, but will die horribly along the way?

Anyway, they can only increase your learning up to a maximum of
30 IIRC. Pretty nice, but not a game winning factor on it's own.
