[evilhack] Soldier violates peace of the coaligned temple?

This EviHack game was very arduous for my hobbit healer.
Altar camping at the healer's temple in minetown (again)
didn't provide any artifact, just clubs, maces, etc. as
gifts. He read many cursed scrolls of create monster to
get as many chances as possible, to no avail. Finally a
prayer crowned him with Vorpal Blade. Enchanted it to +5
and intended to read the last scroll of create monster
before leaving for Sokoban. Some monsters outside the
temple were lured in for more sacrifices. The a soldier
gets generated, and he zapped a wand of death at me -
luckily it missed, so I retreated to a safe corner in
the temple to sort things. But the solder entered the
temple! - WTF?! - And of course his next zap of death
killed me. - Don't they respect the "temple's peace"?
If I'd have known that I'd zapped sleep at him before.
(I hate these instant-death surprises!)
