Over at www.visualbasicforum.com we are holding our monthly coding contest.
This month the contest is to develop an AI for a BattleShip game. It may
sound simple, but there is lots of room to be creative. The UI and game
framework have already been created and supplied to competitors, all you
have to do is implement a class template. The contest is designed so that
it is possible for non-expert coders to participate, but it is setup in such
a way that even advanced coders will find it interesting and challenging.
It is to be programmed in VB6, which I realize is probably not the language
of choice for most of you, but if your feeling adventurous come check it
out. You have until August 9th to submit your entries.
