A few years ago, my folks joined a retirement village in Florida and learned
a new game called Crazy Canasta. They brought it back to Wisconsin and we
have been playing it with them almost every time we visit them. When we're
not there, they play it with their friends. I became interested enough in
the game to try to research it. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything
about it. The folks in Florida think that it came from Texas, but that's
not much of a lead.
After hitting that dead-end, I decided to document the rules. If you're
interested, they're at:

When I was learning the game, I even wrote a web-based calculator to help me
score the game (it was a good way for me to know that I knew all of the
rules, too):

Any help researching this game would be most appreciated!
