I am looking to obtain the translation of a French card game called
Tarot. This is not the fortune telling cards though they are the same
size. I was introduced to this game over 10 years ago while I was in
NE Maine. I have the cards and the French rules. I have tried a
couple of friends who can translate and have never heard from them
again. Even the local high school wasn't able to help.

So, I'm looking for someone who knows how to play the game or some
ideas on how I could contact (Post to a group) someone from France.

Any ideas and suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Dave

The game looks intersting. Do you know where I can acquire a deck of Tarot
playing cards? I have a deck of Waite Tarot cards, the kind used for
divination, somewhere in my house, but they are unsuitable for gameplay.

I agree, playing with Waite Tarot cards would be fairly painful. You can
obtain French Tarot cards suitable for playing (as well as most other
kinds of playing-cards) from

R Somerville of Edinburgh
82 Canongate
Edinburgh EH8 8BZ
Scotland

FAX: +44 131 557 9305

He does international mail order.
