Hello,

I just wondering what everyone here thought of Judge Dredd. If you had a
choice between Judge Dredd for 850 in Very Good condition or the Shadow for
1300 in Excellent condition, which would you choose??

Thanks!

Why not throw Demo Man into the mix as well? Between all 3, I'd still
pick Shadow, but I'd pick Demo Man over Dredd.

Right, and I put almost every pin from WMS before JD, Except Popeye.. 8-)
Hmmm... maybe not CONGO! (Also a Dr Flash game, only game he did which
was cool was CFTBL)

Well, this one's easy.

I just had the choice of the same two PINS.

JD for $ 800
and Shadow for $ 1000

Took JD.
Much better game.
Much MORE game.
JD's got game!
Shadow is lame. :-(
Ask me again & I'll tell ya the same.
Demo man's not to blame,
but you know me..
I can't complain.

I see what you're saying,
but it's pinball I'm playin'.

JD is ok, but suffers from a crippled toy - DEADWORLD! It is almost
fraudulent that WMS advertised
the game with such a neat apearing toy, but yet when you get the game it
does not work as advertised. They
never bothered to fix it, just kludge it and get the game out the door. That
really annoyed me. The game also
suffers from the "too much bare metal, not enough bounce, Dr Flash design".
Look at CFTBL. I don't remember
any other game where the outlane/inlane posts are bare metal. One other
thing I did not like about the JD design
was the left outlane kicker. It was was uninteresting and a problem if 3 or
more balls got in there at the same time.

when you ask this question, you mite as well ask what pins does every one own.
because every one's pins is better if that is what they have.

BK2K, ST:TNG, TZ (right outlane) .. many more, especially Data East and
Steve Ritchie games (usually left outlane)

special about him.

Including Demo Man, Road Show, etc. There's a bunch.

I've had a JD for a year now, and it's still great to play. Fast, lots
of modes, good integration between play and video.

Yeah, deadworld wasn't designed very well, but everything else is so
good, I can overlook it.

I like Shadow too, but for me, it's not nearly as interesting to play
as JD.

Play both as much as you can, then decide for yourself. You know what
they say about opinions.

Good luck!

John
