Is it me or does the x-men cad playfield drawing look very similar to
to RBION?

RBION = A good Lawlor title

X-Men = another middle of the road pin from John Borg

Personally I find all of the pins Borg was involved in to be middle of
the road. Tron was his best work, and it is still a B title at best. I
love the theme and look of Tron but find the gameplay to okay, and I
think the people shelling out big bucks for Tron are blinded by the hype
and love for the theme.

Stern should keep going with the top guys that produce great games, like
Gomez and Ritchie. TF and AC/DC are great pins.

Have to disagree. RBION is not a good Lawlor title. Borg's machines
have gotten better and better. Lawlor's Sterns' games were not as
good as his W/B run. RCT, Monopoly, CSI, RBION, aren't in the same
league as FH, WW, TAF, or TZ. Tron is way better than RBION. I hate
the Jamaican accent talking head, dots, theme, and doppelganger layout
of better pins he has done before.

Don't see why there has been a new interest in RBION other than it
recently came out on Farsight's new pinball simulation. They had been
appreciating at a fast rate up to a year ago, and now seem to be the
new "it" pin.

I said that RBION was a good Lawlor title, not a great one like TZ or
TAF, but in my opinion RBION is better than anything Borg has done. I
do agree that most of Lawlor's pins under the Stern brand were middle of
the road, but I wonder if that was because of the Lawlor group and not
Lawlor himself.

borg just rips off Lawlor with every machine he has ever made.... I'm
wondering if Lawlor isn’t active as he is simply living of the
royalties of all his intellectual property that borg keeps using. I
would like to think somewhere Lawlor gets something, but the reality
isn’t likely that. Without Lawlor, there would be no borg, dating
back to when borg first started.

Should be cy-borg, given his complete lack of vision.
