I almost bought a JP and am still seriously considering it, but I want
to keep my options open for an even better game that will keep my
family coming back for more and more. I want to have something ready
to go for the holiday parties.

I have enough cash for a Shadow or a JP. and I also have a great
condition multigame 48 in 1 cocktail arcade game to offer as trade
bait towards something on the higher end. Not really looking for
collector quality, as I would prefer to avoid that kind of premium
price tag.

I would consider games like Shadow, High Speed 2, Batman Forever, MSF,
BSD
or a reasonably priced, under 2K player conditon ok, STTNG, TZ, or IJ,
open to others as well.

Let me know what you have for sale
Thanks in advance

When I have people over JP is extremely popular....if you can get the
kids off of it. I really dont think you can go wrong with it-its a
great game!

If you're looking for a game that your family/guests will enjoy i
would cross most of the games that you mentioned off your list. I own
Shadow and STTNG, and have had BSD, MSF, JP and TZ in the past.
Several of these games are in my top 10, but most guests/family
members won't touch them with a 10 foot pole!
reasons being:
Shadow: too difficult, lots of sdtm drains when you miss the ramps,
people don't understand the divertors, theme isn't recognizable
STTNG: too difficult, ball spends so much time under the playfield
which confuses people, Delta ramp is impossible for novices to hit
with the upper right flipper, lots of drains!
BSD: too difficult, not enough flashy toys to catch peoples
attention.
TZ: too difficult, too many flippers, hard to understand objectives,
lots of left side drains
IJ: mode start is difficult to hit, lots of videomodes to confuse
people. it does have the theme going for it and 2 flippers which is a
big plus! This would actually be an ok choice if you can find one for
cheap.

MSF: I had one in my house for about 6 months and didn't really care
for it. The music was pretty good, but the layout/gameplay leaves a
lot to be desired. It also has that big DMD which is super expensive
to replace!

JP: I also had one of these for a while. I think this would make a
pretty good choice for your collection. I didn't love the game, but
it does have a good layout and a lot of people are drawn in my the T-
Rex and shaker motor.

The Getaway would also make a pretty good choice. I haven't spent
much time on BF but it does have that big DMD and awful sound (boing!
Boing!)

The two games in my collection that everyone loves to play are WH20
and WCS94 and it's not even close! These 2 would be my
recommendations for under $2K. I honestly don't think i've ever had a
guest play STTNG, BSD, TZ, Shadow, or MSF more than once before
getting fed up or bored with it!

I don't mean to discourage you, but I just thought i'd offer an
opinion since i've owned many of these games in the past.

Mike
