Just wondering if anyone can help out.I have paid a guy in Phoenix a
large sum of money for an Elvis Gold pinball that was advertised on
pinball classifieds. This was a month ago and he keeps promising to
drop the machine to the freight depot but hasnt done so.Now I havent
heard from him for more than a week even though I send countless
emails.Im just thinking if there was someone close to him that could
maybe call and see if the machine is still for sale or even exists or
what the story is.I have tried calling but cant get through. The number
is 480-650-6554 .
thankyou Brett

Hmmm,

if indeed you sent someone in Phoenix, AZ, USA a large sum of money a month
ago(presumably Australian) for a pinball machine, and you have proof of the
expenditure, and you haven't heard anything, I would suggest a phone call to
the Phoenix Police Department.

I just dont want to jump to conclusions just yet so thought maybe a
phone call from someone local may give some answers.I payed via paypal
so have the proof and may be able to follow it up through them.

I would file a complaint with paypal right now. They will notify the
seller of your complaint. If they cant get the seller to provide proof
of shipment, then they should file in your favor for a refund. If you
actually get all your money back is another matter.

IMMEDIATELY file a complaint with Paypal.

I think this is a good example of why Paypal can be a bad idea.
However, if you were smart enough to pay via Paypal with your CREDIT
CARD, you might not be as screwed. Contact your credit card company
and issue a charge-back on that. It might get Paypal pissed off with
you, but at least you won't have to fight to get your money back.

If you ever wondered why Paypal tries so hard to get you to use the
debit-option, this is why. Consumers are not as well-protected in
debit transactions as they are with credit card payments.

I know the guy that had that machine for sale and he can be a little
hard to reach sometime as he seems to fall off the grid. I don't have
any reservations about him though as I have been over to his place,
played his machines and even bought a NGG from him. He came to a
pinball bbq about 2 or 3 weeks ago, so I know he is around. If you
haven't had any response thus far, I can swing by his place and see if
he is around or what the deal is. Email me if you need my help.

Thankyou so much Matthew,email sent;
The guy does seem honest and genuine when I have had contact and I
didnt want it to get to this but I dont have much choice as I am
running out of time to take action with paypal.2 minutes to send me an
email and let me know whats going on is all it would have taken.

deliver the pinball after promising. He wont reply to my emails at all
either now.I paid him $3750 US for the Elvis pinball on the 16/9.I
just want to either get the machine or my money back.I have notified
paypal and my bank and they are investigating but would just like to
know his story.I have an address in Phoenix for him.
Thankyou for any help.

I'll try him. I think that was once my Elvis Gold--my first NIB pin.

it off a attorney who gets many new stern pins shipped to him from
factory.Said you hated it.At leasts he was honest about he being the
